Talk Like A Pirate Day

at ORRJHS

Interdisciplinary planning and fun is a big part of ORRJHS, and Talk Like A Pirate Day gave us a chance as a team to teach our curriculum in a framework that was fun, ridiculous, and got students excited about being in school.

Click the link below to see students in action talking like pirates, singing shanties, learning how to tie essential knots every pirate needs to know, as well as building cannons in order to sink a treacherous rival's ship!
